I love this series. I saw that a lot of chapters were free to read so I picked it up out of curiosity. I spent so much time in the beginning thinking "okay where is this going?" But I'm so glad I gave it a chance. There are moments in this that feel so human, so understanding, so vulnerable that I got teary. The stakes are low and reflect the mundanity and beauty of every day life. These characters feel like real people. I cannot express the amount of times my eyes welled up with tears because I felt so seen, or that I gasped out loud because a character had finally come to a satisfying conclusion and decided to act on their feelings! This manga is so, so good. It's so human, it's so well written, it's so gentle without being boring or ineffectual. It's never nasty or mean, and when it leans into stereotypes it feels like a real conversation about the dynamics at play. This really feels like it was written by someone with a deep, genuine understanding of the human experience. 10/10 I love this series so much. I wanna meet this author and give them flowers.
